Enthusiastic cyclists and families with children can also go on tours around Wirsberg as well as racing cyclists and mountain biker.

Wirsberg is the intersection of nationwide cycle paths like the Euregio Egrensis cycle path, the Main-cycle path and the Main-Saale-cycle path. A new cycle path goes from Wirsberg to the Mainquelle in the high Fichtelgebirge.

You can explore the Kulmbacher region on 15 signposted round tours.

Between 1st May and 3rd October, there is also a shuttle bus available called "Frankenwald-Mobil" that takes you to your desired starting point or picks you up at your final destination and brings you back home. This service is available at weekends and on holidays. The extended Main-Eger bus line from Kulmbach to Marktredwitz and back also serves Wirsberg. Starting May 1st the bus starts at Kulmbach (10:37 am and 4:37 pm) and it also stops at Wirsberg (turning Sportplatz) (11:03 am and 5:03 pm) and continues then to Himmelkron, Bad Berneck, Bischofsgrün, Fichtelberg, Weißenstadt, Röslau, Wunsiedel until Marktredwitz and back.

The "Bayernetz für Radler" is a premium routes net of Bavaria which connects the parts of the country. With its ca. 9.000 km long, attractive and consistent cycle routes it pleases locals and guests.
